Spartanburg Day (SC) five-star wing Zion Williamson will take an unofficial visit to Clemson this Saturday, he announced on his Instagram account. The high flying ESPN regular will be on campus the same weekend the No. 3 Tigers host SEC rival and No. 13 ranked Auburn at Memorial Stadium.

Williamson is the number 2 ranked prospect from the 2018 class. He currently holds offers from Clemson along with Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, Kansas, UCLA, North Carolina and twenty-six other programs.

Despite all of the attention, Williamson said the recruiting process has been amazing.

“Recruiting’s amazing,” Williamson told NBA Draft. “Going through this process and talking to all these college coaches and meeting all of them. Now, I’m probably just going to go home, sit down with my mom, and talk over which schools that I’m probably putting on a list.

Williamson has become a regular on ESPN’s SportsCenter for his high flying dunks. Even celebrities like Drake have been seen wearing his high school jersey. Despite that, Williamson said something else was the biggest moment of his career.

“Winning the second state championship,” said Williamson. “I don’t really care about individual awards but when your whole team gets an award and you get to see your teammates climb the ladder and cut the net. It’s just a great feeling because you all know that you worked all season for that.”

What’s Williamson looking for when he visits a school.

“Just seeing what college life is about,” he said. “Like at a football game or a basketball game because I know a lot of kids want my opportunity so I just take full advantage of it.”

The number 2 prospect in the 2018 class led our list of the Top 5 players from the prestigious adidas Nations. Playing with SC Supreme, Williamson led adidas Uprising in both points and rebounds per at 27.1 and 11.3, respectively.
