Will Richardson, the 6-foot-4 point guard from Oak Hill (VA) Academy, named a final three of Oregon, Gonzaga, and Georgia on Wednesday, via Instagram. His final three was first reported by ESPN Director of Recruiting Paul Biancardi.

“He has completed all his official visits and plans on making his decision in the upcoming weeks,” wrote Biancardi on Wednesday about Richardson. “One of the most versatile point guards in the country as he can easily find the open man, play the drive and kick game, knock down deep 3’s, and rebound down with his length at 6’4″.”

According to 247Sports, Richardson is ranked as the No. 47 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 3 player from the state of Georgia. Richardson has taken official visits to Georgia (Sept. 15), Oregon (Sept. 29), and Gonzaga (Oct. 13). He also took an official visit to Ohio State (Oct. 6) before cutting the Buckeyes from his list on Wednesday.

Before cutting his list, Richardson held offers from schools such as Alabama, Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Auburn, Butler, Iona, Memphis, Miami, Oklahoma State, Rutgers, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC, VCU, Virginia, Wake Forest, and Wichita State, among others.

Richardson transferred to from Liberty County (GA) High School to Oak Hill in August. “What I love about Will is his ability to make plays,” Oak Hill head coach Steve Smith told D1VISION in August. “He creates for his teammates first but can make shots when needed. We have great players around him and that will make him a special player.”

Playing with Each 1 Teach 1 United on the Nike EYBL Circuit this past summer, Richardson averaged 12.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals in 16 games. He helped lead E1T1 to a 12-4 record and an appearance in Peach Jam.
