After landing 2018 shooting guard Chance Moore earlier in the day on Wednesday, Wichita State capped off the first day of the Early Signing Period, landing their second commit of the day in Alex Lomax.

Lomax, the 5-foot-11 point guard from Memphis East (TN), announced his commitment to Wichita State on Wednesday via Twitter, choosing the Shockers over his final six of Florida, Memphis, Missouri, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt.

According to 247Sports, Lomax is ranked as the No. 149 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 3 player from the state of Tennessee. He joins Moore, Rodgerick Brown, Morris Udeze, Erik Stevenson, and Jaime Echenique as the sixth commit in the Shockers’ 2018 class. All five players besides Lomax have signed their Letters of Intent. Lomax will sign on November 15.
