Wake Forest Lands 2018 Four-Star Jamie Lewis

Jamie Lewis, a 6-foot-3 point guard from Westlake (GA) High School announced his commitment to Wake Forest on Friday via Scout.

“I like the coaching staff and I like the system that they run,” Lewis told Scout. “I wanted to go ahead and make my decision.”

According to 247Sports, Lewis is the No. 88 overall player for the Class of 2018 and the No. 18 point guard. Lewis took unofficial visits to Kansas (Feb. 13th) and Wake Forest (June 6th). However, Lewis is on campus this weekend for his official visit to Wake Forest (Nov. 4th).

“I loved the campus,” Lewis said. “I’m about to go meet with the team before their shootaround.”

Lewis originally committed to ACC rival NC State on June 8th. He decided to de-commit from the Wolfpack on September 7th, opening up his recruitment.

Lewis joins five-star wing Jaylen Hoardfour-star forward Isaiah Mucius, and three-star guard Sharone Wright Jr. for the Wake Forest 2018 recruiting class.
