Trendon Watford, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Mountain Brook (AL) High School, told D1Vision on Saturday that he plans on setting visits to Florida State and Alabama in the near future. He broke down each school for D1Vision:

Florida State: “They have a pretty good program and produce guys at the next level. They recruit a lot of versatile guys like me to be in their program.”

Alabama: “They’re obviously not far from home but they’re a rebuilding program with two top recruits this year [Collin Sexton, John Petty].”

According to 247Sports, Watford is ranked as the No. 13 overall player in the Class of 2019 and the No. 1 player from the state of Alabama.

In addition to FSU and Alabama, Watford also mentioned Mississippi State, Kansas, and Indiana among schools that have been recruiting him the hardest. He also received an offer from Virginia Tech on Saturday.
