Sandro Mamukelashvili, the 6-foot-11 power forward from Montverde (FL) Academy, committed to Seton Hall on Thursday following his official visit earlier this week (Apr.18).

“The people and teammates were the deciding factors,” said Mamukelashvili. “They showed a lot of love and created a family atmosphere.”

Mamukelashvili had also taken official visits to USC (Mar. 4) and Vanderbilt (Mar.11). He is ranked by 247Sports as the #194 player in the Class of 2017 and #47 ranked power forward in the class.

“I think it felt good,” said Mamukelashvili on his official visit to Seton Hall. “They have great players still rebuilding and I think we can have a great season next year.”

He joins Myles Cale and Darnell Brodie as the third commit in Seton Hall’s 2017. They have the #48 recruiting class in 2017.

“I’m excited about the school, the fans, and my family,” he said. “They will be close and I know they love basketball there, so can’t wait to play in front of the fans and my family.”
