2018 Shooting Guard Romeo Langford Cuts List to Seven

Romeo Langford, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from New Albany (IN) Senior High School, is down to seven schools per Scout.  “Romeo’s seven schools are Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana, UCLA, Kansas, Vanderbilt, and North Carolina,” said his father Tim Langford.

Although Langford has no upcoming visits planned at this time, he has long maintained that he is likely to decide in the spring and is likely to visit all seven schools.

In June, Langford participated in the adidas Eurocamp as part of the US Select Roster. According to 247Sports, Langford is ranked as the No. 5 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 1 shooting guard in the class.

One surprising omission from Langford’s list is the Duke Blue Devils who offered in April of 2016. As of now, Louisville seems to be the favorite, garnering 60 percent of the vote in 247Sports’ Crystal Ball through ten predictions.

With a spring decision likely, Langford has time to do research on all of the schools included on his list, and see how he would fit with each team as they play this season.
