Portsmouth Invitational Tournament: Everything You Need to Know

PORTSMOUTH INVITATIONAL

The 65th Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT) will tip on Wednesday featuring 64 of the top college seniors from around the country.

Eight teams featuring eight players each, two head coaches and an NBA Assistant coach will tip starting at 7:00 pm ET on Wednesday.

The event will last over the next four days and have scouts from every NBA team and from International franchises.

Over it’s storied history, the P.I.T. has been a showcase for five of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Rick Barry, Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, Dave Cowens, John Stockton and Scottie Pippin.

This years tourney includes Bryce Alford, Bronson Koenig, Kris Jenkins, Zak Irvin, Amile Jefferson, London Perrantes and the best name in basketball, Scoochie Smith, to name a few.

TICKETS:

Books of tickets for the 2017 PIT are now available at Ticketmaster.com. Books of tickets will also be available, beginning Wednesday, March 8, at the Churchland Branch of the Portsmouth City Treasurer’s Office, 4934 High Street W.

Payment for tickets purchased at the Treasurer’s Office is by cash or check only. Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Single night tickets available each evening at the door for $10.00.
