Northwestern Lands Four-Star Forward Pete Nance

Pete Nance, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Revere (OH) High School, announced his commitment to Northwestern on Thursday via Twitter following his official visit.

“I’m excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Northwestern University,” said Nance in a statement released on Twitter.

According to 247Sports, Nance’s commitment gives Northwestern the No. 9 recruiting class in 2018. Nance joins Jordan Lathon as the second commit in Northwestern’s 2018 class. Lathon committed to Northwestern earlier this week.

Nance is the brother of Los Angeles Lakers’ forward Larry Nance Jr. and the son of former NBA All-Star Larry Nance Sr. He chose Northwestern over Michigan and Ohio State.

Nance’s commitment comes just hours after Michigan landed 2018 forward Brandon Johns. He had an official visit to Michigan planned for Saturday (July 1).
