Marvin Price, a 6-foot-5 small forward from Huntington (WV) Prep, caught up with D1Vision to discuss his recruiting process. Price has taken unofficial visits to Miami (FL), Central Florida, and Florida thus far in his recruiting process.

Price broke down each school.

Miami (FL)-“I really like the facilities, the gym, and stuff to do with the team. After talking with the coaches, we talked mostly about adding more to my game and getting better.”

Central Florida-“I loved the atmosphere and the coaches. I felt really welcome as if I had already been there. I’ve met with their coaches before, so it wasn’t anything new.”

Florida-“Florida was amazing looking at everything and the last things they achieved. I loved their gym and locker room. Coaches just want me to stay consistent with my play.”

According to 247Sports, Price is the No. 82 overall player for the Class of 2019 and the No. 25 small forward. Price told D1Vision he holds offers from Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, Kansas State, Virginia Tech, DePaul, Oklahoma State, James Madison, Illinois State, and George Washington.

Price is coming off a game-high 32 point performance against Hargrave Military (VA) Academy on Thursday in a triple overtime thriller with a 118-115 win.

“It felt great especially knowing we could play with them in that long of a game,” Price said. “It felt great especially with my teammates keeping me engaged. I wouldn’t say I was in a zone, I just was hitting a lot of shots and stayed locked in and focused.”

D1Vision recently caught up with Huntington Prep teammate Quinn Slazinski, to discuss his recruiting as well.
