Will Richardson — the 6-2, 170-pound guard from Liberty County (GA) High School — has recently emerged as one of the best players in Georgia and one of the most underrated guards in the entire class of 2018.

After picking up an offer from Alabama the first week of June, Richardson picked up an offer from Chris Holtmann and Ohio State, who had previously been targeting him down at Butler.

“The coaching staff has been recruiting me for a long time,” said Richardson on Ohio State. “They were one of the first calls I got as a junior.”

Entering his senior year, Richardson plans on making his decision sometime soon, “I’m targeting a decision for after Peach Jam, during the beginning of the school year.”

He still plans on taking visits but does not have any planned yet. Richardson is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 63 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 4 player in the state of Georgia.

Richardson currently holds offers from nearly twenty schools, from the likes of USC, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Rutgers, and Georgia Tech.

Luther Muhammad — the 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Hudson Catholic (NJ) High School — already holds offers from Notre Dame, Butler, Seton Hall, UConn, Pittsburgh and Rutgers, among others.

Muhammad is coming off a spectacular weekend down in Virginia at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, leading his team to an undefeated 9-0 record and tournament championship. His recent play led to an offer from new Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann on June 15.

“I like their fan support and their style of play,” said Muhammad. “They are a good academic school as well.”

Later this week (June 23), Muhammad plans to visit St. John’s for an official visit.

“I like their style of play, they have pretty good academics, and their coach [Chris Mullin] is not so wild,” said Muhammad. “He’s pretty laid back.”

Schools such as Arizona, Kentucky, Villanova, Louisville, Virginia, and Indiana have also begun to show interest.
