Darius Days, the 6-foot-7 power forward from IMG Academy (FL) School, announced his commitment to LSU on Friday via Twitter. Days, who chose LSU over North Carolina, took his official visit to LSU last week (Oct. 13).

According to 247Sports, Days is ranked as the No. 65 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 8 player from the state of Florida. He joins Nazreon Reid and Javonte Smart as the third commit in the Tigers’ 2018 class.

Days, who named his final five in August, chose LSU over Louisville, North Carolina, Ohio State and Xavier. Entering Friday, LSU and North Carolina were the two favorites to land Days. In addition to his LSU visit, Days also took official visits to Louisville (Sept. 15) and North Carolina (Oct. 6).

On his visit to LSU, Days was joined by LSU commit Javonte Smart and 2020 recruit Micah Peavy, as the Tigers took on Auburn in football.
