LaVar Ball and the Big Baller Brothers Reality Show set to Launch on Facebook

LaVar Ball has changed the face of parenting when it comes to his sons and their future in the world of basketball. The face of a family who once said that he would kill Michael Jordan in a game of one-on-one is about to be the face of a docuseries set to launch on Facebook, according to a report from Deadline.

LaVar, who asked shoe companies for a one-billion dollar contract for his three sons, took a leap that no other incoming NBA Draft pick has experienced. Ball launched the Big Baller Brand, a company focused on a line of clothing and shoes with the initial ZO2 launching for $495 a pair.

The ZO2 was designed by Lonzo Ball, the oldest of the three Ball brothers. Lonzo was the recent number two overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 NBA Draft. LiAngelo Ball and LaMelo Ball both attend Chino Hills (CA) and will follow in the footsteps of Lonzo and head to UCLA to play college ball.

LiAngelo is ranked outside of the 247Sports top 200 in the 2018 class. Younger brother LaMelo holds the number 14 overall ranking nationally in the class of 2019. LaMelo has a chance to follow his brother into the NBA, depending on his development over the next two seasons.

As part of Facebooks push to get into video content, the docuseries is one of two projects currently scheduled to appear on the world’s largest social media platform. As of now, the docuseries has no title and the number and length of episodes is still to be determined.
