Khalid Moore, a 6-foot-7 wing from Archbishop Molloy (NY) High School announced his commitment to Georgia Tech via Pat Lawless of MADE Hoops.

“I have decided to verbally commit to Georgia Tech. I think they can push me to become better both on and off the court. They play in the ACC against a lot of good competition, they have a style I will fit in well with and are good academically,” Moore told Lawless.

According to 247Sports Moore is the No. 138 overall player for the Class of 2018 and the No. 3 player in the state of New York. Moore who just took an official visit to Georgia Tech on October 20th, also had offers from Seton Hall, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Miami, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and Syracuse amongst others.

“When I was on my official visit I got to see that there were a lot of good things going on,” he told Pat Lawless. “I got to know some of the players and once I stepped into the arena I was amazed and felt comfortable. I also got the chance to speak to Jose Alvarado about his experience and he said nothing but great things.”

Moore joins four-star point guard Michael Devoe and three-star small forward Kristian Sjolund, as Georgia Tech’s 2018 recruiting class.
