2018 Four-Star Keyontae Johnson Announces Final Four

Keyontae Johnson, a 6-foot-5 wing from Oak Hill (VA) Academy has narrowed his final four schools to Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, and Florida via Twitter.

“After four visits, careful consideration, and a lot of prayer. I have narrowed my list to my top four choices. I thank God for this tremendous opportunity. I would like to thank each and every coach who spent time recruiting me and I thank my parents being there no matter what.”

According to 247Sports, Johnson is the No. 116 overall player for the Class of 2018 and the No. 24 small forward. Johnson also took official visits to Wichita State (Sept. 15th) and Minnesota (Oct. 13th). Before cutting his list, Johnson held offers from Boston College, UConn, Kansas, NC State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Wake Forest amongst others.

Johnson is an elite athlete in the Class of 2018 sporting a 41-inch vertical. Playing with Boo Williams, Johnson caught many eyes as he averaged 12.9 points and 7.6 rebounds while nearly shooting 70 percent at Nike’s EYBL Peach Jam.

According to 247Sports Crystal Ball, Florida has a 100 percent chance to land Johnson.
