2018 Guard Kevin Porter Jr. to Commit Sunday

Kevin Porter Jr. Set to Commit

Kevin Porter Jr., the 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Rainier Beach (WA) High School, is set to announce his college decision on Sunday at 12:45 pm Pacific time.

Porter, who announced his top six last month, will be choosing from California, Oregon State, Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington. He has not taken any visits.

According to 247Sports, Porter is ranked as the No. 71 overall player in the Class of 2018, and the No. 2 player from the state of Washington. The 247Sports Crystal Ball gives USC a 100 percent chance of landing Porter.

This week, USC has already landed two 2018 four-star recruits in J’Raan Brooks and Taeshon Cherry. Arizona State also landed a commit this week in 2020 guard Kyree Walker.

Playing on the Nike EYBL with Seattle Rotary Style, Porter has averaged 15.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.9 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game. Seattle Rotary finished with a dismal 4-12 record, missing out on Peach Jam.
