Four-Star Kaden Archie Commits to Texas Christian University

Kaden Archie, the 6-foot-6 small forward out of Midlothian (TX) High, announced his commitment to TCU on Sunday via the video above. Archie chose the Horned Frogs over Kansas, Florida, SMU, Virginia, Texas, Arkansas and LSU.

“As soon as I stepped foot on campus, it felt like I belonged,” Archie told HOOPDFW. “Jamie Dixon is a great coach, he’s excited about me and I’m excited to be coached.”

Archie officially visited SMU (Sep. 1), TCU (Sep. 15) and LSU (Sep. 23) prior to his announcement.

Archie joins four-star point guard Kendric Davis (Sam Houston High, Texas), four-star shooting guard Feron Hunt (DeSoto High, Texas) and three-star Russell Barlow (Berkner High, Texas) as the fourth commit in TCU’s 2018 class. The Horned Frogs are now ranked 18th nationally and third in the Big-12, according to 247Sports.
