2018 Wing Josh LeBlanc Discusses Final Four Schools


Josh LeBlanc, a 2018 6-foot-7 four-star forward, announced his final four schools which include: Arkansas, Texas A&M, LSU, and Georgetown. The Madison Prep Academy (LA) wing spoke with D1Vision on why he chose this final four.

“I chose these final four schools because I felt they would put me in the best situation,” LeBlanc stated.

LeBlanc, who had a solid performance at the Top-100 Camp in Virginia, also held offers from Cincinnati, Houston, Minnesota, and UAB before cutting his list.

LSU: “I really enjoy how serious they’re taking basketball, now that they have a new coaching staff.”

GEORGETOWN: “I like the academics that they have at Georgetown.”

TEXAS A&M: “I like the coaching staff that they have at A&M.”

ARKANSAS: “I like the style of play down at Arkansas.”

When asked about the coaching staffs of his final four schools, LeBlanc said, “It’s all the same, it’s very hard to describe each relationship.”

LeBlanc took an official to Georgetown last weekend, he confirmed to D1VISION. He is scheduled to officially visit Arkansas later this month (Aug. 26) and Texas A&M next month (Sept. 8). He is still in the process of scheduling a visit to LSU.

LeBlanc said he has no timeline on when he will make his decision.

While playing with Louisiana Elite on the Under Armour Summer Circuit this summer, LeBlanc averaged 13.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 17 games. 247Sports has LeBlanc ranked as the No. 88 player in the Class of 2018 and the  No. 2 player from the state of Lousiana.
