Jonathan Isaac, the 6-foot-10 freshman forward from Florida State University, declared for the NBA Draft on Friday via Twitter.

Through 30 games, prior to the NCAA Tournament, Isaac averaged 11.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.1 steals while shooting 50.2 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from three. He led Florida State to a 26-9 record (12-6 ACC) and a #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament before falling to Xavier in the second round.

“I’d like to thank all of Florida State for making my time here worthwhile, and a special thanks to all you fans and FSU’s staff,” Isaac said. “I truly enjoyed my time here, and it’s all because of you guys.”

According to Draft Express, Isaac is projected to be the #9 pick in the 2017 draft.  He joins guards Dwayne Bacon and Xavier Rathan-Mayes, who also announced their decisions to enter the NBA draft this week.
