Jared Butler Cuts List

Jared Butler, the 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Riverside (LA) Academy, named Texas, Wichita State, USC, Alabama, Baylor, and Virginia as his final six schools via Twitter on Tuesday.

According to 247Sports, Butler is ranked as the No. 94 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 2 player from the state of Louisiana.

Playing with MEBO Elite on the Nike EYBL, Butler averaged 13.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.0 steals in 16 games played. MEBO Elite finished with a 6-10 record, missing out on Peach Jam.

Butler told Scout last month that he thinks he will make his decision in January. “I know I’m going to visit Alabama, Virginia, and Texas for sure,” he told Scout. “I got two more but don’t know who yet but Virginia, Texas, and Bama for sure.”
