Jahvon Quinerly, the 6-foot point guard from Hudson Catholic (NJ) High School, will announce his commitment on Tuesday night during the SC30 Select Showcase game on ESPNU starting at 9 pm EST per Paul Biancardi of ESPN.

Quinerly, who is deciding between Arizona and Villanova, visited Arizona for an official visit earlier this summer (June 24). He has not taken any other official visits. He has officials to UCLA (Sept. 16) and Kansas (Sept. 23) set for next month which will likely be canceled.

According to 247Sports, Quinerly is ranked as the No. 15 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 4 point guard in the class. Before reports that he will decide between Arizona and Villanova, Quinerly was also considering Kansas, Seton Hall, Stanford, UCLA, and Virginia.

Playing on the Under Armour Circuit with Sports U, Quinerly was the third leading scorer, averaging 18.8 points and had the second most assists per game on the circuit with 5.1 per game. Quinerly was named MVP of the Under Armour Association.

There have been rumors of a possible package deal between Quinerly and his teammate with Sports U, Naz Reid, who has Arizona included in his final seven. Reid is also considering Kansas, LSU, Kentucky, Louisville, UCLA, and Seton Hall. He took an official to LSU earlier this summer (June 30).
