Five-Star Immanuel Quickley Commits to Kentucky

Immanuel Quickley, the 6-foot-3 point guard from John Carroll (MD) School, announced his commitment to Kentucky on Friday via a live broadcast on Uninterrupted. Quickley took an official visit to Kentucky last weekend (Sept. 15).

Quickley, who cut his list to three last month, came into the day considering Miami, and Kansas, and Kentucky for his services. According to 247Sports, Quickley is ranked as the No. 8 overall prospect in the Class of 2018 and the unanimous No. 1 player out of the state of Maryland.

Playing for Kentucky coach John Calipari on the USA U19 team this summer, the Wildcats have been considered the favorite throughout his recruitment.

Quickley spoke with Uninterrupted, leading up to his commitment, stating:

“The biggest thing when I am selecting a school is the players that have been successful in the past. I think the relationship between the players and coaches and the coaches getting their players to the NBA because that’s what I want to do one day.”
