Georgetown Lands 2018 Four-Star Forward Josh LeBlanc

Josh LeBlanc, the 6-foot-7 power forward from Madison (LA) Prep Academy, announced his commitment to Georgetown and head coach Patrick Ewing on Friday via Twitter. He took his official visit to Georgetown earlier this year (Aug. 11).

LeBlanc, who chose Georgetown over Texas A&M, took his official visit to Texas A&M last month (Sept. 8). He also took an official visit to Arkansas earlier this year (Aug. 25).

According to 247Sports, LeBlanc is ranked as the No. 73 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 2 player from the state of Louisiana. He joins Grayson Carter as the second commit in Georgetown’s 2018 class.

While playing with Louisiana Elite on the Under Armour Summer Circuit this summer, LeBlanc averaged 13.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 17 games.
