Noah Locke, the 6-foot-2 point guard from McDonogh (MD) School, announced his commitment to Florida and head coach Mike White on Tuesday. Locke is coming off his fifth and final official visit to Florida from this past weekend (Sept. 30).

Coach Mike White is a really nice guy, my family really likes him,” Locke told Prep Hoops. “They’re a top 25 team almost every year and some great guards have come out of that school. They let their guards do what they do. That’s something I’m really considering.”

Locke is the second commitment to Florida in the last 24 hours, following top 30 point guard Andrew Nembhard who pledged to the Gators on Sunday. The two four-stars combine to give Mike White the No. 20 ranked recruiting class nationally, third in the SEC.

Locke chose Florida over Providence, Ohio State and Xavier. He is rated No. 70 nationally on the 247Sports Composite Rankings. At his position he is No. 14 and No. 3 in the state of Maryland.
