Cameron Reddish, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Westtown (PA) School, announced his commitment to Duke on Friday in a video from the Players Tribune.

“A year from now I’ll be wearing blue and white but before I tell you where I’m going, I have to tell you why,” said Reddish in the video. “Basketball isn’t just a thing I do. It’s not a hobby. Basketball is my heartbeat. My parents always say I’m not a prospect. I’m a work in progress. There’s always more to learn. That’s why I’m going somewhere that I can be challenged as a leader, challenged as a student, challenged to grow up on and off the court. And that’s why I’ll be attending Duke University.”

According to 247Sports, Reddish is ranked as the No. 4 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the top player from the state of Pennsylvania. He chose Duke over Kentucky, and UConn, and joins Tre Jones as the second commit in Duke’s 2018 class.

Playing with Team Final on the Nike EYBL Summer Circuit, Reddish averaged 22.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per outing.

In addition to landing Jones and Reddish, Duke also landed the top player in the 2017 class, Marvin Bagley III last month, who also announced that he would play for the Blue Devils this season. According to NBADraft.net, Bagley is projected to be the No. 2 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and it is unlikely that he and Reddish will play together at Duke.

NBADraft.net has Reddish projected as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft behind RJ Barrett and Bol Bol. Barrett took his first official visit to Kentucky this weekend (Sept. 1) and will also take officials to Duke (Sept. 8), Arizona (Sept. 15), Oregon (Sept. 22), and Michigan (Sept. 29).
