Daejon Davis Release Washington

Daejon Davis, the 6-foot-3 combo guard from Garfield (WA) High School, has asked out of his Letter of Intent with Washington, his AAU coach, Daryll Hennings, told Scout. Davis’ decommitment comes less than two weeks after the firing of Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar.

Since Romar’s firing, 2017 signees Michael Porter Jr. and Blake Harris have been released from their NLI’s while 2018 forward Jontay Porter announced his decommitment. Jaylen Nowell and Mamoudou Diarra are the two remaining commits in Washington’s 2017 class.

Davis decommitted from Washington last year before recommitting in April. Before recommitting, Davis was also considering Gonzaga, Oregon, and Stanford.
