Cam Reddish to Cut to Five, Announce Before Senior Season

Norristown (PA) Westtown School class of 2018 wing Cam Reddish told Rivals he expects to cut his list to five sometime after Peach Jam, which occurs in early July.

“I am down to eight schools right now,” Reddish told Rivals. “I will probably cut my list down to five after Peach Jam in July.”

Reddish is the number 5 ranked player in the Rivals 2018 Player Rankings. His final eight consists of Kentucky, Duke, Villanova, Miami, Arizona, Maryland, UConn and UCLA.

Duke is the current presumed leader.

“Just to come in and be the man. Be the leader straight from the start with the right guys around me,” said Reddish on the Blue Devils.

Kentucky could inevitably make a strong push.

“Obviously they want (me to) be to be a one-and-done,” Reddish said of UK. “Just to come in and that they’re going to push me to be great.”

Reddish says he plans on taking his five official visits prior to an announcement.

“(I want to) take my five officials at the beginning of the school year and then commit before my high school season begins,” Reddish told Rivals.

The ultra talented wing will be a major asset to whoever lands him for the 2018-19 season. Rivals Basketball Analyst Corey Evans had high praise for the five-star Reddish.

“Cam, as a prospect, is as complete of one you’re going to find at this stage,’ Evans said. “He is phenomenally talented and skilled, can play practically every position on the floor outside of center and has developed an alpha dog mentality that makes his team the favorite in every contest he plays he in. All together, Reddish is elite and he will continue to be in the years ahead.”

Reddish is averaging 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks in 26.4 minutes for Team Final on the EYBL Summer Circuit.
