Ronaldo Segu — the 6-foot 2018 point guard from Orlando (FL) Christian Prep — announced his commitment to Buffalo on Sunday. The lead guard chose the Bulls over VCU, New Mexico, South Florida and Towson, who made up his final five.

“First I’d like to thank God for giving me the ability and strength to play the game I love and I also want to thank my family and friends for the support they have given me,” Segu said in a release via Twitter. “Also, I want to thank Showtime Hoops/1Family for believing in me and bringing me in and being LOYAL from day 1 and never switching up.”

“I want to thank Brad, Darryl and Lee for being there for me,” Segu continued. “Pushing me on and off the court and teaching me how to become a man. And now I would like to announce that I will be furthering my education and basketball career at the University of Buffalo!!!! Committed. To my young bulls out there if you want something go get it, simple.”

Segu is the second commit to Buffalo in the last week, joining Prolific Prep (CA) 2018 shooting guard Jeenathan Williams who announced his commitment to the Bulls on September 23rd.

Segu talked with D1Vision back in July about the Bulls.

“They’re making me a priority,” Segu said. “They’ve been at all my games in July. They talk to me every day to see how I’m doing. They’ve invested in me.”

That investment paid off on Sunday when the 6-foot point guard announced his decision to the Bulls.
