Ayo Dosunmu, the 6-foot-4 combo guard from Morgan Park (IL) High School, will make his college decision on Thursday at 7 pm central time, he announced on Tuesday via Twitter.

Dosunmu, who cut his list to two earlier this month, took an official visit to Wake Forest last month (Sept. 29), before tripping to Illinois this past weekend (Oct. 13) for his final official visit. Dosunmu originally had a final seven of Illinois, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, USC, Wake Forest and Xavier, before cutting to two.

According to 247Sports, Dosunmnu is ranked as the No. 27 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 1 player from the state of Illinois. Through 12 predictions on the 247Sports Crystal Ball, 100 percent of experts expect Dosunmu to choose Illinois.

If Dosunmu chooses Illinois, he would be the first commit in the Illini’s 2018 class. If he chooses Wake Forest, he would join a loaded three-man class of Jaylen HoardIsaiah Mucius, and Sharone Wright Jr..

Illinois will be hosting 2018 small forward Talen Horton-Tucker for an official visit this upcoming weekend (Oct. 20). Horton has also taken official visits to Xavier (Sept. 22), Georgia Tech (Oct. 6), and Iowa State (Oct. 13).
