Reggie Perry, the 6-foot-9 five-star small forward from Thomasville (GA) High School, decommitted from Arkansas late Wednesday evening, he told Scout.  Perry is currently participating in the Adidas Nations Training Camp in Los Angeles, CA.

“Unfortunately, I had to decomit tonight with Coach [Mike Anderson] because of personal health issues with my father,” Perry told Scout. “I have to do what is best for me and my family.”

Before committing to Arkansas, Perry held offers from schools such as Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas State, Miami, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, and New Mexico State, among others. He took an unofficial visit to Auburn last summer (Aug. 13).

Perry’s decommitment leaves Arkansas with a three-man class of Ethan Henderson, Desi Sills, and Isaiah Joe. Before his decommitment, Arkansas had the No. 1 recruiting class in 2018 per 247Sports.

Playing for the Arkansas Hawks, Perry has had a great spring, averaging 17 points and 8.4 rebounds through eight adidas Uprising games.
