Andre Rafus, the 6-foot-9 small forward from Lake Clifton (MD) High School, announced his decommitment from TCU on Sunday via Twitter. Before committing to TCU in March, Rafus was also considering Kansas and Georgetown.

“I would like to thank TCU for the opportunity that they gave me and I greatly appreciate it,” said Rafus in a statement released on Twitter. “I will be reopening my recruiting and have a lot to consider and discuss with my family. Thank you again to Coach Dixon and Coach Miller for the opportunity!”

Rafus has already heard from Georgetown, Gonzaga and Penn State since announcing his decommitment per Jake Weingarten. He does not have a timetable for his decision. Although Rafus had been committed to TCU for a few months, he never signed a National Letter of Intent.

According to 247Sports, Rafus is ranked as the No. 6 player in the state of Maryland and No. 189 overall in the Class of 2017. Before committing to TCU, he held offers from nearly 20 schools including UConn, UNLV, St. John’s, Kansas, Missouri, among others.
