Andre Rafus Jr. Cuts List to Five Schools

Andre Rafus Final Five

Andre Rafus, the 6-foot-9 small forward from Lake Clifton (MD) High School, named Penn State, Oregon, Gonzaga, Oregon State, and Georgetown as his top five schools Thursday, he told D1VISION.

Rafus, who recently decommitted from TCU last month, took a visit to Georgetown (June 23) last month. He is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 237 overall player in the Class of 2017 and the No. 6 player from the state of Maryland.

Before committing to TCU, Rafus was also considering Georgetown and Kansas, although Kansas was not included in his newest list as they have no scholarships remaining in the 2017 class. Rafus still plans on staying in the Class of 2017.

Washington, who was included in Rafus’ new list, landed a commitment from 2018 forward Ed Chang earlier this week (July 3). They also landed 2017 Hameir Wright, who recently reclassified from the Class of 2018 to the Class of 2017.
