Four-star 2018 Shooting Guard A.J. Reeves Names Final Four

A.J. Reeves, a 2018 shooting guard out of Chestnut Hill (MA) Brimmer & May High, announced his final four schools on Wednesday.

“I’m grateful to all the schools that have recruited me but I have narrowed it down to my final 4,” Reeves said via his Twitter. “I’m truly blessed to be in this position.”

Reeves final four consists of two teams from the ACC and two from the Big East. Virginia and Louisville join Villanova and Providence as the schools Reeves is expected to select from once a final decision is made.

Reeves selected his final four from a list of 17 offerS. Georgetown, NC State, Syracuse, Xavier, Virginia Tech and Creighton are just some of the schools missing out on the final cut.

With the closest proximity to home, Providence has hosted Reeves unofficially on at least three separate occasions and visited the elite guard at least twice. They were the first of his final four to offer back in October of 2015. Providence head man Ed Cooley landed Reeves former Mass Rivals teammate, Makai Ashton-Langford, as part of a 2017 class that ranked 18th nationally.

Reeves runs with undefeated Mass Rivals on the adidas Gauntlet summer circuit. The four-star is averaging 12.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per outing.
