Just one day after finishing an official visit to Ann Arbor, St. Thomas More (CT) 6-foot-5 shooting guard Adrien Nunez announced his commitment to the Wolverines and head coach John Beilein. Nunez chose the Wolverines over Boston College, Penn State and Texas A&M.

Nunez fills a spot vacated last week when Worthington Christian (OH) School Taylor Currie withdrew his commitment from Michigan.

“Ann Arbor felt like a real city which was comfortable for me being that I’m from NYC,” Nunez told elevate Hoops about his decision. “The coaches were really straight forward and direct with how they see me on the team and my progression.”

Michigan is also in the running for 2018 four-star point guard Noah Locke who is set to announce his commitment on Tuesday.

Nunez joins a tandem of four-stars in wing Ignas Brazdeikis, forward Brandon Johns and point guard David DeJulius as the fourth member of Michigan’s 2018 class, a class that now ranks 5th nationally in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
