Jules Bernard, the 6-foot-7 shooting guard from Windward (CA) School, announced a top five of Kansas, USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Miami on Tuesday via Twitter.

Bernard, who previously announced a top ten earlier this month, cut Arizona State, Georgetown, Oklahoma, Stanford, and UNLV from his list. According to 247Sports, Bernard is ranked as the No. 44 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 6 player from the state of California.

Although Bernard has no upcoming visits planned, he did receive an in-home visit from USC head coach Andy Enfield, earlier this year. He spoke about it with D1Vision in May:

“It was good,” Bernard affirmed. “They came in and talked about what they needed to talk about. It was my first one and I didn’t know what to expect, but it was a good experience.”

Bernard has taken unofficial visits to UCLA, USC, and Stanford but has not taken any of his officials. Through three predictions on 247Sports’ Crystal Ball, 67 percent of experts expect Bernard to choose UCLA, while one expert predicted Stanford before Bernard cut his list.
